Midwife Leslie Stewart

There is no retirement party for midwives. Due to the nature of the work, long and odd hours, many midwives slowly pare back and phase out with little fanfare from the communities they have served. Yet they contain a lifetime of wisdom and experience that must be honored and memorialized.  It is our honor, to honor the midwife in a ceremony fit for her years of service.
