Midwifery remains an oral tradition, passed down less in books than in shoulder to shoulder, student beside teacher, heart to heart transmission.  These traditional midwives successfully helped to usher thousands of women and babies with nothing more than their trust, intellect, and their own two hands. To capture the fading wisdoms of these traditional midwives, we will preserve their teachings in beautiful documentary style video. It is our hope that by using technology this way, we can, like them, keep technology out of the birth room.
