Our podcast casts a wide net around the country and across the globe, finding midwives to sit down with us over a virtual cup of tea, while we engage her in conversation about all things birth, discuss the state of midwifery today. Listeners will feel as if they are in attendance with her ‘at her feet’.
We explore the historical influence of midwifery across various cultures. Our travels to India, Bali with @iburobin and Mexico that have shown us the global lack of midwives and the urgent need for proper training and resources to reduce maternal and child deaths. We illuminate the impacts of modern medicine on traditional midwifery and the perpetual importance of preserving this age-old wisdom. We voice our passion for midwifery and our endeavor to keep these sacred traditions alive.
